National Parks Week (24th to 30th July) provided the opportunity to discover, discuss and share the differences our National Parks make to each of us. We asked the question “What makes Exmoor National Park special for you?” – below are just some of the responses and images we received as to why these 267 square miles mean so much to each of us.

During National Parks Week 2017, we used social media to ask “What makes Exmoor National Park special for you?”. We’re delighted to share some of the responses and images we received below (with apologies to any that we haven’t included but there wasn’t room for all your lovely comments and pictures!):

Combined Maps@DanWarren84 shared his impression of his recent visit to the west of Exmoor “An ancient Devonian wilderness containing high cliffs and the quaint Lynton and Lynmouth”, he also created an “Underground Tube Map” of North Devon and Exmoor!

Our colleague in the National Trust, Nigel Hester shared an evocative image of Holnicote along with his views.
